A world away in Adelaide and I am always inspired by someone who’s passionate about their art.
He’s a busker whom I’ve seen around the place from time to time. I’ve been attracted by the music he makes, the speed at which the notes tumble from his instrument and his almost manic style.
He plays beneath a hood but if you can catch a glimpse of his eyes – there’s sheer enjoyment in them.
I wanted to capture all that in one shot – hopefully I did.
Talking to him, he plays a Mandolin he made himself. He calls it a ‘bandolin’ because he’s tuned it to sound a bit like a banjo.
