Not far from Mt Gee is another unusual formation. It’s called The Armchair. A rounded, bald red granite formation, it contrasts starkly to the surrounding hills and mountains.

Named because of its unusual shape, the Armchair is generally recognized from another, more popular angle which shows what appears to be an armrest that, in this case, is seen at the forefront of the formation.

Dont know that I would want to sit on the Armchair, parlicularly with such a wild looking sky – but it certainly is magnificent.
    Keep up the great work
    Love it

I can only imagine the destruction left in Arkaroola if mining were to be allowed. I urge everyone to go to Arkaroolas newly established site to find out how they can help.
The government needs to hear many voices so we can stop mining and preserve this wilderness for future generations. please see
