There’s been widespread rain throughout the country in the last 24 hours or so. Creeks are running and tanks are full.

It’s not without some slight inconveniences though.


But nobody is complaining except one poor bloke whose four wheel drive was swept down a creek and he broke his leg

    Hey there, I've been reading your blog for months now, I appreciate your photography from a part of the world I love.

    Can I ask where this photo of the flooded creek over the roadway was taken?

    We're doing a seven day hike to Arkaroola in April so have been closely monitoring the rainfall, as we'll be relying on water holes for our water. Nice to see 24mm of rain fell on Friday.

    It's the Boolcunda Creek, about half way between Hawker and Quorn on the Wilocra Plain, a long way from Arkaroola.
