An email from Lynnie Plate from the Pink Roadhouse in Oodnadatta has revealed the artists involved in work on the Dunjiba Community Council building.

Lynnie says “The mural artists were John Turpie and Siv Grava from Elliston in South Australia – friends from years ago. Both are well known local artists.”

She says they also help Marree with the camel sun dial and in Marla they refurbished Adam’s (that’s Lynnie’s husband) famous road sign.

“The Dunjiba building is the original Oodnadatta School house and now is used for storage.”
