This handsome little critter is a yellow-footed rock wallaby. Shy and elusive, they are often difficult to see because they live on steep rock faces, in crevices and caves in isolated pockets in the Flinders Ranges.

Classed as a threatened species the yellow-foot was shot almost to extinction back around the early 1900s as it’s beautiful coat was a prized fashion accessory at the time..
